1. Where is the College located?
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is located in the center of
Villanova’s campus in the St. Augustine Center for the Liberal Arts (SAC) and
the Mendel Science Center (with classrooms in other parts of campus as well).

3. What is the average class size in the College of Liberal Arts and
Sciences?
Class size varies from intimate 15-student seminars, 20-person
performance and writing enriched courses, and 35-student lecture-style classes,
98 percent of which are led by a faculty member. Most courses offered by the
College of Liberal Arts and Sciences purposely are small in size to encourage
thoughtful class discussion and dialogue.
4. Have Villanova students, and in particular students in the College of
Liberal Arts and Sciences, received the nation’s most prestigious post-graduate
fellowships and scholarships?
Since 1983, there have been 126 finalists for Rhodes, Marshall, Fulbright,
Gates-Cambridge, Truman, and Goldwater post-baccalaureate fellowships and
scholarships. Of that number, 66 have received awards; fifty of the 66, or 75
percent, have been graduates of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
