Part-Time Studies students who are matriculated in the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree program may seek a General Business minor upon application to, and approval by, the Dean of the Villanova School of Business.
Business minor applications are reviewed twice a year: early January for the Spring semester and late May for the Fall semester. Acceptance is determined on a competitive basis. Only students who have been accepted will be permitted to take the business courses. A student in the Business Minor Program may take 1 required business course at another four year accredited institution. Pre-approval by the VSB Dean’s Office is necessary. Students in the General Business Minor program are required to either use the school laptop or purchase the necessary software programs for their pre-owned laptops.
The curriculum for a BIS minor in General Business requires nine courses to be completed beyond those required by your chosen major. Note that you are required to have any prerequisite courses necessary (indicated in Villanova's Undergraduate Catalog) for any particular course in the BIS General Business minor.
